Santa is coming to town!
Fair Mo 2011 will feature Santa's grotto for children visiting the event. As the popular Christmas song says, You better watch out... Santa is coming to town! Quite literally so.
Santa is due to arrive at the parish church in style, and certainly not quietly!
JOIN US! from 10.00am and you'll see what we mean.
Entrance to the grotto will be £3 which will include a present for each child. Also, professional photographer Katia Borghi will be on site to take beautiful souvenir photos for you to take home.
Hall for Cornwall Stars to open Fair Mo 2011
Fair Mo 2011 is getting very close indeed and we can announce that the wonderful Dame Cornish Pasty Crusoe and Tweedy the Clown - the stars of this year's Panto - will be opening the celebrations.
As always, JOIN US!
Tweedy the Clown
Always a huge hit with audiences, Tweedy the Clown is back with his usual hilarious brand of slapstick humour. As well as the UK’s Giffords circus, Tweedy has been a featured clown in America’s Ringling Brothers and Barnum and Bailey - playing such prestigious venues as Madison Square Garden and The Staples Center LA. Tweedy has also received numerous comedy awards, received rave reviews from the worlds press and can be seen regularly on children’s television. He created his own stage show, Tweedy’s Lost Property, which had sell out audiences, standing ovations and received critical acclaim when performed at the Edinburgh fringe festival. One of Tweedy’s acts can be seen in the new Anna Karenina film with Jude Law and Keira Knightley next year.
Dame Cornish Pasty CrusoeRichard Alan’s, another favourite, is back as Dame Cornish Patsy Crusoe. He has been performing with Hiss and Boo for over 10 years, appearing in Aladdin, Cinderella, Dick Whittington, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, Jack and the Beanstalk and not forgetting last year's pantomime Sleeping Beauty. As well as pantomime, over the last fifteen years Richard has worked as an actor and family entertainer. Productions include Rentaghost the Musical, The Adventures of Captain Pugwash and for the last two years he has been touring with the Thomas the Tank Engine show.
Robinson
Crusoe is at Hall for Cornwall from Monday 12 December to Saturday 7
January. Tickets are from £13 to £20, plus a Theatre Fund payment.
School, family and group deals are also available.
